We Choose the Moon
A possibly great one to use in the classroom, maybe for the older kids!?! Wechoosethemoon.org is an interactive experience recreating the historic Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in real time. Once where only three men made the trip, now millions can. Live event begins 9:32 AM EDT July 16, 2009. Exactly 40 years after Apollo 11 lifted off.

KIDO’Z
“The KIDO’Z Kid’s Web Environment is the safe, easy and fun way for young kids to surf their favorite sites, watch videos, play games, send emails, create and communicate without knowing how to read and write!” – This piece of software looks great, maybe we can trial it with some of the younger children in school, and also get the parents involved. I love the idea of it, especially when so may parents are still wary of the internet for their younger children.
