The Innovators 5 – Jaye Richards

A great article from an inspiring woman. It also shows through using an online learning/exchange platform, a very large intranet (Glow), children can benefit from exchanging and networking with other schools as well as within their own, learning at their pace. A positive step forward, but she also highlights the negatives that are most common all around the UK, schools and teachers finding it difficult embracing ICT cross-curricular, only strengthening the cause to increase training for teachers & schools. One thing Wroxham can agree with what she says is “…education needs to be turned right on its head – it’s time for bottom-up rather than top-down”. Worth a read!
