Centre of the Cell
A great website resource and potential class/school trip about the cells in our maginificent bodies. This website was created by the Open University web team, and was a link sent to me by The Media Project Manager, a lovely guy who both Roger and Myself (Lee) met on Monday at the Innovation in Education conference in London.

ICT provision & use in 2009/10
BESA is the trade association of suppliers to schools and produces an annual ICT in UK State Schools report in two volumes. An analysis of the online responses from 770 primary and 572 secondary schools across the UK suggests that teacher confidence and competence is down by 10 per cent in primary and secondary schools. More than 80 per cent of teachers say that “limited access to ICT is affecting their use of ICT in the classroom”. The trend towards mobile, portable and wireless provision continues although only 34 per cent of schools feel they are “well equipped with laptops”.
